The idea behind Bad4 was born in 2017, turning challenges into bold creative solutions. Led by Alessandro De Re, we craft multidisciplinary projects mixing design, photo, video, and copywriting all to tell your story in a fresh, impactful way.
Who
Born in 1994, Alessandro De Re grew up immersed in the world of communication and nightlife culture, inspired by his father Roberto Malligan, art director for some of Northern Italy’s most iconic clubs during the ’90s boom. Over the years, he developed a strong writing voice alongside formal studies in photography and design, refining his craft with Gabriele Micalizzi at Cesura and with Studio Ey. Deeply connected to the events scene, he has been creative director of the cultural collective From Disco to Disco since 2018, curating exhibitions, music festivals, and multidisciplinary projects that blend visual storytelling, music, and event design.

Creative Direction
The creative process always begins with paper, words, and thoughtful reflection. Every step is a deliberate move toward shaping and bringing the core idea to life.
Graphic Design
Design serves as a tool to convey messages with impact. Whether by shouting or whispering, the aim remains the same: visual strength, communicative clarity, and strong identity.
Photography
A direct, essential, and distinctive photographic style influenced by a street photography background that adds character to every image, from polished corporate shots to emotional storytelling, always tailored to the message.
Event Management
From music events and festivals to vernissages, workshops, and live performances, BAD4 designs and directs a wide range of events, overseeing every aspect, from concept to execution, through a multidisciplinary approach.
